Kiwanis Club of Carmichael
OUR CLUB
The Kiwanis Club of Carmichael is an organization with heart and soul, driven by a diverse and inclusive community of passionate people who are making a difference throughout our world. The Kiwanis Club of Carmichael Foundation is a 501c3 public charity that has been serving the community since 1962. Our club contains nearly 100 members from all aspects of our community: teachers, lawyers, real estate agents, doctors, parents, grandparents, Girl Scout troop leaders, environmental activists, and more. Membership in the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael gives members the opportunity to participate in community service while building lasting friendships.
Since our founding in 1962, our club has also built strong relationships with other community organizations, such as San Juan Unified School District, the Carmichael Recreation and Park District, the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District, Carmichael Presbyterian Food Closet, SMUD, Sacramento Kindness Campaign, The Kiwanis Family House, and others to further our reach to support families and serve the children in our community. We strive to work with diverse groups who represent our diverse community.
If you are interested in providing “hands-on” service to the community or just want to make a difference in the lives of others, we have over three dozen programs and projects that we support yearly. We are always looking for new members with a passion for service and our community.
