We meet from 7:30-8:30am the first, second, and fourth Wednesdays of the month, and from 6:30-7:30pm on the third Wednesday of the month. Our club hosts a number of events throughout the year that serve to bring the community together while raising funds for the many programs we support. 100% of all proceeds raised at Kiwanis Club of Carmichael community fundraisers is put back into the community.
Veteran's Day Ceremony at the Koobs Nature Area, November 11, 11am
Each year at the Koobs Nature Area, the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael hosts a Veterans Day celebration in front of our Vietnam Memorial. The nature area will open at 10 AM, and the ceremony will begin at 11 AM. Refreshments will be available. Please come out and join us to celebrate our veterans and enjoy the Koobs Nature Area, named for WWII veteran Earl “Ranger Jack” Koobs.
Holidays at Koobs at the Koobs Nature Area, Sunday, December 8, 12-3pm
It’s our annual Holidays at Koobs event! Come join us in the nature area for ornament making, cookie decorating, live holiday music, and visiting with the big man in red! This fun, free, family event is hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael and the Kiwanis Club of Citrus Heights. We’ll be open from 12-3pm unless the weather prevents us.
See's Candy Sales, November 18-December 24, 10am-5:30pm daily
Our annual See's Candy fundraiser is another way that the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael raises money to support children and families in our community. Stop by our See's Candy storefront in the H&R Block store in the Bel Air shopping center at 4005 Manzanita in Carmichael in late November or throughout December to pick up holiday gifts, hostess gifts, a fun dessert, or even just a treat for yourself!
Kiwanis of Carmichael Crab Feed, Saturday, January 18, 5:30-8:30pm
Our annual crab feed fundraiser is not to be missed! Gather some friends or family and enjoy an evening of delicious food, raffle prizes, and a live auction, all benefitting children and families in our community as this is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Check back for when tickets go on sale.
