The Kiwanis Club of Sacramento meets every Wednesday via Zoom (we will return to in-person meetings once it is deemed safe). We meet from 8am-9am the first three Wednesdays of the month - and if there is a fifth Wednesday - and from 7pm-8pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Our club hosts a number of events throughout the year that serve to bring the community together while raising funds for the many programs we support. 100% of all proceeds raised at Kiwanis Club of Carmichael community fundraisers is put back into the community.
Koobs Nature Area Public Open Days, 1st Saturday, 10am-2pm
As part of our Koobs Nature Area signature project, the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael opens the nature area on the first Saturday of each month, March through October, for themed public open days. Families can come out for these free events at which kids can participate in science and art activities. Mark your calendars so you don't miss a single one!

Veterans Day at the Koobs Nature Area, Saturday, November 11 @ 11am
Come join us for our annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Koobs Nature Area in front of the Vietnam War Memorial. There will be speakers, music, and a time for remebrance of Veterans of the past and present.
Holidays at Koobs, Saturday, December 9 from 12-3pm
This fun, free, family holiday event has become a popular holiday tradition in Carmichael. Come join us for ornament making, cookie decorating, and live holiday music. And, best of all, you can get your family's photo with Santa, and the kids can let him know what they're wishing for under the tree.
